2.4 First-Party Analytics Cookies

We use our own analytics system to track user interactions and improve content recommendations. This data is stored in our database and not shared with third parties.

Internal Analytics Tracking

We track the following interactions to understand user behavior and improve the platform:

  • Impressions: When server/bot listings become at least 50% visible in your viewport
  • Click tracking: Clicks on listings, join buttons, and navigation elements
  • Position tracking: Where items appear in search results and category pages
  • Time on page: How long you spend viewing listing detail pages
  • Context tracking: Which page and list you're viewing when interacting with content

Data retention: Analytics data is retained for 365 days, then automatically deleted.

Purpose: This data helps us understand user engagement, improve recommendation algorithms, and optimize ranking systems. Time spent on pages indicates content quality and user interest. All data is analyzed in aggregate to identify trends.

Privacy: This tracking is tied to your session (if logged in) or anonymous session ID (if not logged in). See our Privacy Policy for details.

  • Cookie consent: Your analytics and advertising preferences

Local storage persists until you clear your browser data and is not transmitted to our servers.
